I’ve never seen tears fall from someone’s face like that. I don’t know why, but I’ve never been so shocked. Everyone is just upstairs and I’ve never seen tears fall from any man’s face like that. I had explained: it was the negative space of a mother’s boxed dinner and a father’s anger un-management. You were a strange attractor: last night you seemed to love me anyway. Last night I played in the snow and drank Red Ruby Absolut and slept next to you (ecstasy-coloured sleep). Last night I may have dreamt about the ocean, I’m not sure, but I’ve never seen tears fall from any man’s face like that.
