BLOCKED
My imagination is gone
I’m that adult in childhood stories
Who forgot about magic, can’t see the creatures
Writes off their sense of adventure as dreams and juvenile fantasy
Some people believe mediums on TV. I think it’s impossible and people are naive
Then it occurs to me – all they want is to hear from their mother, they crave that comfort
That contact. They cling to it like I cling to an idea of heaven, despite being totally irreligious, so
I can believe that I’ll never really lose my family, friends, my beloved. You do not see what’s blocking you
